I don't think most companies have an AI problem. They have an integration problem. I keep seeing the same pattern: the team buys the tools, everyone gets faster, and the P&L doesn't move. The tool works. The workflow around it never changed. The numbers back this up. McKinsey's 2026 survey found 80% of people say AI made them personally more productive, but only 37% say it moved their company's EBIT. Flat year over year. BCG puts a number on why: 10% of AIs value comes from the algorithms, 20% from data, and 70% from changing the operating model and how work gets done.
